Anyone know what the exact policy on the soft landing program? Is it guarenteed that we are able to come back or would we need to interview to potentially have a shot at coming back?

“soft landings” is a old term.. not sure thats a thing anymore unless you have only been gone 90 days or less, then I've seen some come back with minimal training... DEC (direct entry captain) is what they do now.. regardless bet there is a interview. They want to make sure you’re not going to bounce again any time soon.. good luck.

Any recent CJO people get a class date? How long is the time after CJO to hear?

For those of you who have interviewed recently, how long did you wait between interviewing and hearing a decision? My interview was last week (5/22) and I haven't heard anything yet. I know things likely got pushed back a little because of the holiday weekend, but I'm just wondering what the general timeline has been for people.

Interviewed on a Friday and heard back on Monday morning with a CJO. Have not signed a contract but it looks like they are now gatekeeping interviews unless you sign the contract. Also, someone told me their recruiter said class date can be early as end of July with a contract. No current class or ETA for those without a contract. However some have said theri recruiter said about a 3 month wait without one. It's pretty much up in limbo.

sounds about right for the no contract wait. I should add that even though the contract was announced no where in my interview process/cjo was the contract even mentioned.

I can't help but wonder what the cause was to push the contract to being an interview gateway. Not enough current CJO people signing, perhaps.
