I could outfly that lousy autopilot down an ILS any day of the week...and I was the non-professional! At least I can laugh about it now LoL
LOL these are the types of people who are bid avoided. Any pilot in the world should have the skills you are gloating about.

LOL Who are you? I'm glad I got on the forum today. You made my day. you did a 100 question test in 15 minutes? You read and answered 100 questions in a little over 6 seconds each. I think my class average was about 2 hours. You must be the best in the world.

You'd certainly hope, wouldn't you? Unfortunately it's not the case...if you believe otherwise, you're only lying to yourself. It's amazing that such a true and broad statement can never gain enough traction to overcome most pilots' egos. A shame, really. I'll tell you what. Go and hand-fly your next approach, raw-data, and then come back and tell us about it. Would you have passed a checkride? Remember, the ATP requires a pilot to maintain BAW while at the same time doing it in a smooth manner. That last part seems to have been forgotten.

Nope. It's not a very difficult test. You must have been the one dude that took three hours and sweat bullets, huh?

Trips no good out of TUS?? Much better than PHX or MSP!! The hours suck, 5:30am shows and midnight arrivals back to base, but the flying and overnights are definitely not bad. It is true about dropping/swapping, it's impossible.

How long would it take to hold ord or Iah? Are they common bases to get right out of training?

IAH is hard to get because nobody is leaving. I've had my bid in for a while and have a little less than 2 years seniority and still waiting.

Back in the day we did the group thing w/ a LOT of beers & no one had any issues. For upgrade we showed up w/ cases of good brew and grub from Costco...that was just a few week fiesta.

Take the advice....show up, listen, take notes, ask questions & enjoy the experience. SkyW was the most fun I've had in this crazy career.
