Skywest
But I like how your life is so purposeless you have to wonder what's going on in mine, hey when you posted the story about how/why you left that Florida based abortion(you and others and the moderators chided you and the rest of the cheerleaders)then saw you posting about Skywest and getting on with them I thought that was pretty cool. But whatever, I got an airplane to learn, as easy as it would be for me to come down to your level, your post reveal enough about your true character.
Take care sunshine! 💩
This is a Skywest thread so unless you have something to discuss about what's going on at our airline then I have nothing to say to you. Take care at your new training.

According to the call this morning, the new by laws change only effected 18 people. Thought that was an interesting number but by no means accurate. Of course, we never get numbers of the class sizes or attrition data, so I will just take SAPA's word for it. So far they have seemed like they have my best interests in mind. /sarcasm
All sarcasm aside, it is scary to look back at past newsletters and see what communication SAPA used to provide. Things like PBS tips and such. When we went to the new forums, we lost a lot of good information (tribal knowledge that had been passed along). I don't feel anyone is doing it on purpose, but I think we can get a little too cozy with management and not realize how little changes make big problems for line pilots. I guess until we value ourselves more as a group, or don't have FO's that need to live on only the wage SW provides for them, we will get paid what the company feels like paying us.

Starting CRJ class in Oct in Salt Lake. Looking for advice on if I should drive my car from Little Rock or just fly and deal without having a car. Opinions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

That said, the local train gets you downtown pretty easily now, and the hotel shuttle will help you get groceries, I think. Might just depend on where you think you'll go from Salt Lake, and if you're going to move there/commute from Arkansas.

Although I live in Salt Lake I'd probably recommend not driving up to training. First there's now a transit system right next to the hotel that goes by a grocery store and down town that is very user friendly.
Also you may get assigned sim in CVG, STL, or ATL for sim if the classes are big or DEN if you take the 175.
Usually there's someone that will drive regardless and you can slip them some bucks for a ride someplace.
My take, have fun!

I'd say leave the car back in Arkansas, plenty of ways to get around where you need to, less stress, and you're going to have plenty to keep you occupied where the car will just sit most of the time anyway.
Having my car was a luxury. But I was also moving to base. Only drive it if you feel it's worth having as a luxury item. SLC transportation is very good from the hotel. But it was nice to be able to drive when I wanted where I wanted. Park City on the weekends was a blast!
