Lots of people do this for fun or are mid life career changers. Say I was as loaded as said individual it's fine for me to think this is a good pay package but is it really appropriate for me to tell people who do this job for a living to say accept it and be condescending to those who don't agree? I don't know, that's just my opinion then again if I was loaded I probably wouldn't do this for a living or I'd be buying everybody dinner on my overnights lol.

I think you have to look at the audience when you make the argument... Kind of like riding the jumpseat and listening to a mainline Captain complain about his 6 figure salary not being enough meanwhile you're cash strapped and eating Ramen. This guy basically did the same thing and how did you expect the vocal minority on the Sapa forums to react?

Also, count me in for a few bucks for unmoderated SKW pilot forums. I'd be happy to pay a few bucks to someone who can make a real forum and make it known to the whole pilot group.

The one instructor you looked forward to going to sim with. Mitch had a way of making you feel good about yourself, your company and the business your in. He always had you leaving the session with a new found confidence and a desire to uphold professional standards.

This really is terrible. I hope us skywesters take a minute or two to remember what's really important in life and to show love and respect towards others. You just never know what life is going to throw at you.

Re forums: I read that. That guy went way out of line. It is ok to disagree with someone, it is not ok to post pictures of ones house. What's next, posting pictures of his kids going to school ? Not cool.

I don't agree with the forum being shut down but some of the verbal attacks and especially posting a co-workers personal information was seriously crossing the line. I would have gone straight to SAPA or Management too if someone did that to me on a company forum.
