I am getting married and I was upfront about the date and they asked when I would be available. Told them starting October 1st I was available and then they asked my aircraft/base preference. I received an email 2 hours later saying they are offering me the job and assigned me a class date, all I had to do was send an email response yes or no. So there isn't necessarily an option to pick but they will work with you to get you in.

It's the IOE that's the problem, company can't help how fast check airmen get hired at mainline, the FAA is also pushing back saying we have too many check airmen partially due to them bidding trips the company won't use them for like stand ups, apparently company is looking to remove lca status from people they can't use to make room

Thinking of jumping ship to SKW,

Is Chicago still easy to get right out of training (e175)?
How many weeks/months of reserve should I expect at ord before having a chance to hold a line?
Also, are reserve guys getting used much?

Thank you!

Voting on the pay package is over, you don't have to do that anymore.

If additional 175s just result in parking other aircraft it doesn't really matter much.

Absolutely untrue, that is the management uniform to a "T", add a but plug and that would be upper management....

I have not, nor have I ever, said anything to sway a vote. Nice attempt at trolling.

Yes, they showed me a list of what the next dates were and told me I could choose now or think about it and call later to let them know.

Does SKW contribute anything toward pilot medicals?
