The Bro is well known as such. But for the CRJ, maybe "Con" isn't such a bad name for the 200. Either that or "Pinto"

The "a" is feminine, we us the "o" cause there isn't anything feminine about the E-120.

Isn't it a BRAzillia? What's with the arbitrary o? Is that a cool guy Skywest thing? Is the RJ the COnOdOir? The Con???
Now that's funny, someone getting all offended that an aircraft(and a regional one at that) gets all hurt by someone using a commonly used nickname. You must be a pleasure to fly with... or not.

Oh and before you go correcting what kind of plane that I fly make sure you can spell it right!! The correct spelling is Brasilia...not BRAzillia. I was trying to put some much needed humor into the aviation world by using a nickname I heard Brozilla.....you know sounds kind of like Godzilla.

The Brasilia doesn't care what you call her, as long as you call.

Some nicknames I've heard for the CRJ-200 = Duce papi, Duecer, Ducepapibukake, Climb Restricted Jet, The Oven, Can't Jet and many more will come during its death as an airliner.

For those of you in the next Brasilia class...

At the hotel where you will be staying there is a room on the second floor with a paper tiger to practice flows. Also, a few of us left some catering items, crackers, plates, ziploc bags, laundry soap, etc., so be sure to check out the room before you stock up at the grocery store.

The best advice is know your EP's and limitations, limitations, limitations before you show. With the amount of new info you will have to start to chew once you hit class, you will do yourself a favor if you know that stuff cold before you show.

Good luck!
