When I did mine (over two years ago) they ran through the full HR interview, and the first guys to go who had extra time also did the systems portion. I wasn't able to do it. You don't need to bring your logbooks or anything with you to the job fair, but you should be fully prepared to interview. Don't go if you haven't studied the gouges and systems.

When I did the real interview in SLC they only did about a 5 minute HR portion because I had already done it at the job fair.

We're way below minimum staffing right now with 10 more people leaving from SFO alone on September 10th.

FAT is still the most junior base and will probably remain that way. SFO and FAT are probably equally as easy to get right now but seniority will move a lot faster in FAT. I spent a year as a junior lineholder in SFO not moving much. I would have been bidding 30% in FAT in that time.
Thanks, That was helpful info.

Although my girlfriend really wants to move to Portland. I would not mind living there either but it sounds pretty hard to get with a longer reserve stint and less flying while on reserve. Cheaper rent though.
The current class had 7 guys go to SFO. Hope that helps.

It looks like about the only base a new hire can't hold right now is SLC. The most junior person in every other base has less than two months seniority. Things are moving finally.

Oh, yeah? I heard a rumor from my best friend's dad's co-worker's next door neighbor that we're going to flow directly to UAL with no interview required.

Give it a break, quit trolling.

No, they finalized the rates with a BHO like the RJ.
There's CRJ2 + BHO 700/900
And E120 + BHO 175

EMB120 +5% For the EMB170
Basically 2 BHO rates: one for Bombardier equipment, one for Embraer equipment. Keeps things simpler that way.

They realized they had to give us a little more, but the thing is so easy to fly that it shouldn't have to pay CRJ base.

Pretty much! I was expecting to get FAT but got my #1 choice (PSP). I think we had people go pretty much everywhere except PDX and SLC.
