I find it amazing that in defining the term reflow someone had to include references to hooking up on the road. It's super annoying. Totally unprofessional.

Yes they run back to back. Plan on being in SLC for almost 4 weeks straight.
It really depends. Our class has a total of about 60-70 people with 15-20 of those being transitions from the EMB. They have us split into "Class A, and Class B" Class A was ALL SLC, and they start right after ground school so they have zero break. "Class B" had choice between CVG, STL, and ATL with some classes starting as far out as 3 weeks after the end of ground school. It will be largely based on your seniority number. The more senior bunch were in class A.
It's really easy to get around between walking, other classmates with cars, the transit (train, trolley whatever you want to call it), Uber, and the hotel doing 3 times a week grocery runs. So I think you'll survive just fine without a car.
Pack a weeks worth of clothes, and just do laundry on weekends. Have a notebook and pens/pencils to take notes. Bring all your required documents for employment. Have all your performance and limitations memorized before you show up, and it will make your life way easier. Bring some food to start off the first day or two so you don't have to buy any thing from the exorbitantly expensive snack-bar in the hotel. Bring a laptop, and a tablet if you have it. Tablet makes it easier to go through systems as you can have the powerpoint/manuals loaded onto your tablet.
Despite what CCB, and Facebiter would have you believe there are far far far worse places to be, and I'm really enjoying my time here. I'm so much happier to be here than at my last job. Every regional has its issues, but this is definitely a decent place to be.

Company is going to start reflowing everyone more over the next couple weeks to show you how they can do what they want. Everyone will start thinking about the couple extra hours here or there they are missing out on. Unless we do a temporary TR, we will all be on reserve the second the EFB goes in place.

The culture of sexual harassment at Skywest is bad. I don't know why I would write this to you since you obviously endorse it. I just hope other females will know they aren't alone and may come forward as well. I was pressured and threatened to sleep with my IOE captain or not pass. Another IOE captain forced himself onto a female Skywest captain during her IOE and she had to physically fight him off. None of us report it because we stand to lose everything. To be shunned by our fellow pilots and blackballed by the industry. You all think it was our fault or just the way it is. This is part of why a union is needed. Few other industries would tolerate this kind of behavior. In aviation it is widespread and the norm. It's just a matter of time.

The company won't tolerate it, they stand to lose a great deal.
This is 2015. Walk off the plane (or out of the hotel), immediately call the MOD and report it (the line is recorded). Then file a complaint on SKWOL. Go home until the company starts it's process. Just to be safe, ask for IOE somewhere in Cali with a younger check airman so you're out of the hypothetical Utah old boys club.
If you wait until you flunk IOE, then it looks like sour grapes. If you wait until after IOE then it's harder to address because it will be he said/she said and folks will wonder why you didn't walk off the plane when it happened.
But if you WALK AWAY and notify the company immediately there is no way the guy can explain it away. Even if nothing is proven 1) you'll get IOE with someone else and 2) that guy will probably be done as a check airman. Worst case, he'll be so scared poopless he'll probably never bother anyone again.

Different story at work of course, but this isn't work. This one of those places where people come to let off steam after spending the work day dealing with stifling and frustrating policies and personalities.

You don't even work here, you're just trying to slander our company. I know 5 girls from my initial hire class and never heard anything about this. Things of that nature is never tolerated anywhere, I've heard of male captains being wrongfully accused by FAs and that have lost anything even when they didn't do anything is. Skywest has zero tolerance for sexual harassment, people making unwanted advances have more to lose...harassment won't get you anywhere regional, mainline or anywhere.
Keep your slander to yourself unless you can actually prove something, everything you always bring up about SkyWest is negative and based on "someone you know that works here that you keep in touch with" yet you're always on our thread and apparently tried to get rehired here....
