The point is something like 2500 people thought that was a good deal. When jp left, the majority (of those who bothered to vote) thought rj would make a good president. History just keeps repeating itself here.

Whoever thought he would be a good prez was delusional or didn't know him well. I disagreed with JP quite a bit, but at least he was sane.

Not me. But I certainly Triggered you with your comment to move. Why would I move? But maybe you’re right. With so many koolaid drinkers like yourself willing to work for less and not lift a finger, it’s a lost cause. I hate mediocrity

I liked that MM was hated by our management, that showed he was working for the pilot group.

Management literally went to the hanger and crew lounges to campaign for JP, that's how much they wanted MM out! JP was pretty good but his business mind sometimes made him sympathetic to company wishes.

Management loves our current pres.
Never flies, not current.
Gets paid 110 hours a month, can't remember the last time I heard anything from him, doesn't participate on the SAPA forums.

Yep, enjoyed working with him - when I initially joined SAPA there were some interesting times as their was basically an internal revolt and some guys were going after MM. It was ugly but MM was resolute.

Yep and that is where we disagreed, but he could support other positions that he personally disagreed with which earned my respect.

No surprise there :D

It would have given us time to look at Endeavor's TA. Most yes voters didn't believe 9e would pass those hourly rates. Had we said no, I'd at least expect a revised TA of 2-3% increase per year to keep up with inflation (still way less than endeavor rates). We also could have had anything awarded more than 90 hours of credit a month at 150% (this concept was mentioned in an email late summer but the wording made it sound like overtime pickup would be less than it is now).

We passed the low ball offer. I don't think they would have just changed the numbers around to please a different proportion of the pilot base. At least not with Endeavors TA passing.

Based on who I've talked to, its been the UND and riddle grads who voted yes to the TA. Or at least they are the ones who are vocal about it.

We have 42 aircraft coming in 2018. If the company can’t attract pilots they will revisit pay... and ive heard rumblings of that happening now.. will see.. With corporate tax going down they will have more money to throw at us...

I also remember the vague lies everyone was spreading about all these hot new CRJ-900 models coming down the pipeline. It was a trap you guys. They got us 10 years ago. They got us 2 years ago. They will get us again.

Any word on a New York base?

Any more talk about increased flying in Phoenix?
