And if they fly under credit they still get the scheduled credit for that leg
That’s it. I’m almost positive the more I read about the 121 world, the dumber about it I get.
It’s comical at this point.

Cannot find any threads on various bases and seniority. How junior is IAH? Website says FO is 08-21-2017. Is this accurate? Also, what basis are new hires getting? Interested in SkyWest, but only if I can get IAH within 6 months.

The odds of getting IAH within 6 months are decent. You'll be on reserve for awhile though.

IAH is a pretty small base for Skywest. So there is not alot of movement there which means it'll be alittle while to get and you'll likely be on reserve for some time too. New hires are getting DTW, MSP, & ATL.

They keep the website pretty up to date. IAH is in a bit of a precarious position though. My understanding is that SGU was going to close it completely when a major partner asked them to keep it open...supposedly because they expected another regional to be unable to support some of their Mexico flying and wanted SKW to be able to take it over. As it turned out, that regional did lose the Mexico stuff, but instead of SKW getting it, Republic got it. Now what happens with our IAH base is anyone’s guess, but it’s not likely to be a fast growth opportunity.
