One of my buddies just did it. Sounds like the training was fine. It's just a crappy airplane compared to the 175. Especially in winter ;)

Good to hear. I'm still a bit from upgrade, just wanted to see how guys are handling it. The 175 will make you lazy for sure.

Hope you haven't gotten used to in-flight meals. And a proper environmental system. And being able to walk under the wing. And happy customers. And having a life outside of work.

We only grew by 5 pilots in January!
Looks like hiring was normal but attrition was huge.

There is this magical sucking sound from the top of the list every time SWA runs a class.

The didnt run classes at the end of December. So January isn't a good indicator on the +5. The more concerning thing is that we lost 70 pilots in January!!! Thats good movement!! Will see what this month holds..

The only way management comes back to the table is we start losing more than we can hire.

And any ideas on which flying gets cut first when we can't staff it?

200’s....... UA probably..then DL. But as someone said ERJ classes are full tell May.. CRJ is what will suffer.. we’re already flying a ton... maybe they will be able to get more ASA guys to come over..
