Not even close. There are way too many senior captains who think whatever the first offer is the best we can get. Same song, 400th verse. Please sir, may I have another 1% raise?

That's because they already have theirs. They mostly live in high QOL, low COL towns and pull down $130K+ without even trying (to say nothing of the training bubbas).

Most are not willing to rock the boat hard to try to push their pay into the mainline realm. Particularly since they remember how that worked out for COMAIR.

Actually hard to blame them.

What kind of rate? my class date is Feb 13 so I don't have a base yet but hearing I could get SLC out of training I'd be at least somewhat interested.

PM for details if interested. I have some options, to include a car.

The top 1000 pilots here have 12 years minimum. What do you consider junior? The majority of the yes-voters I talked to were guys with 10+ years.

Skywest offers a 401k to all employees that is fairly good relative to other companies for all employees.
Yes our 401k sucks compared to what mainline pilots earn.
What does xjt earn?

It appears as though they are earning a swift kick in the Jimmy from SKW.

New hire here. Can anyone provide any insight on how difficult a commute from SEA to SLC would be! Thanks in advance
