Most the UA 700's are staying in ORD. But just now as AA 700's

For those who have recently gone through the Atp-Ctp course, the email says 4 days of class and 3 of sim. Is that what you have experienced? Was your travel to/from the day before and the day after? Just trying to see how much time I'll have back home before going back for ground school. Thanks all!

Just finished my CTP today. Yes 4 straight days of ground (8am-5pm). Sims will be 3 days (2 sessions of 4 hours and 1 session of 2 hours). Due to simulator utilization you may go to sim the day after you finish ground or wait up to a week or so. My sims were 8 days after I finished ground. They'll fly you home between each time you need to be there. You can ask the CTP coordinator if you want to know what sim slots you have. I have a friend who was flown home the day he finished sims, but I'm being flown out the day after. It depends on flight availability.

Hello ladies and gents,

I'm a new hire about to finish IOE on the ERJ... I have a family wedding that I will be a part of mid spring. I want to be sure to have that time off... About 4 days. How can I go about doing that? I heard of golden days but am not entirely sure what those are... Is there a way to get those off for sure? Thanks!

Golden days are first come first serve. Go to skedplus and right click on the days you want off and request a golden day. You could also call crew support and request them over the phone.

Do golden days. Right click on the day.. you get 5 a year.

I had the same deal when I was on first year, crew support swapped around my reserve days those months so I could make it to the weddings.
