When Republic first year pilots are making more than my pay rate they need to seriously sit back and realize something is messed up.

They take the average block from the previous season for that leg. It usually ends up being about 5-10 minutes under scheduled block. It adds up quickly.

If you fly over the credit you get paid actual block.

And if they fly under credit they still get the scheduled credit for that leg

That’s it. I’m almost positive the more I read about the 121 world, the dumber about it I get. :D

It’s comical at this point.

If "they" is 9e, then that is also consistent with OO.

IAH

Cannot find any threads on various bases and seniority. How junior is IAH? Website says FO is 08-21-2017. Is this accurate? Also, what basis are new hires getting? Interested in SkyWest, but only if I can get IAH within 6 months.

The odds of getting IAH within 6 months are decent. You'll be on reserve for awhile though.

IAH is a pretty small base for Skywest. So there is not alot of movement there which means it'll be alittle while to get and you'll likely be on reserve for some time too. New hires are getting DTW, MSP, & ATL.
