What are the retirement "demographics" for OO over the next 2-3 years?

Cheers,

Might just be the kick in the butt needed to get out.. timing is good... But i just see the doors getting locked on SLC. You can go out the excape hatch. But the SLC boarding doors closed.. they will just let it shrink naturally over the next 1-5 years... So if SLC is your goal. Go elsewhere..

No they won't. They'll just stay out west and displace the junior guys out of PHX, DEN, BOI, etc. Those displaced out of those domiciles will go east. End result is that the junior guys flying the crummy 200 trips out of the eastern domiciles will still be flying them.

That's not going to happen though. It would be very expensive and **** a lot of people off.

There are still another 80-100 ERJ positions in SLC to be awarded as well which will help right size the CRJ flying.

Lets be clear. No one “official” has even mentioned “displacements”. Only more DH’s to east flying for SLC Crews. If anything does happen i would guess they would wait tell after summer flying is done to evaluate SLC flying block hours...

Insignificant. 30 or so in the next three years out of 4600 pilots.

Reserve Proffering comes to SkyWest Reserves!!!

(unfortunately it seems extremely complicated while it could've been obvious and simple. This looks neutered and easily manipulated by crew scheduling while being far from transparent)
Then again i don't understand much the first time around.

Time for Z.M. the Sapa reserve guy to head back to the line. He has single handedly made things worse for reserves while trying to make things better. (bid days off and now this piece of work)

Disagree. He was the only one with enough sense to say no to the last garbage TA.
If anything I wouldn’t mind having a few more of him around.

Looking to start apply for regionals since I'm within 3 months of reaching R-ATP minimums. Does SkyWest interview applicants when they're within 3 months of the mins like other regionals?

Not only do they flow SLC crews east through deadheads and what not, but they give them the 700/900 flying that should be dtw and msp crews. Just look at the open time. Every trip is better than 70% of the pairings out of msp and dtw. So for a base that should be smaller than it is, SLC crews are already given special treatment since they get to stay in base but then they also get the good trips else where. Sounds like this same thing was happening when they would flow SLC crews to SEA.
