Just wait until amncd and all of them arrive to tell us NOW that SkyWest pilots are the highest paid in the regional market.

Hopefully Envoy and the rest of the wholly owneds follow suit so that more pressure can be put management's shoulders.

Envoy is supposedly testing out $40,000 in bonuses for previous 121 time.

Nope. But we have tons of movement, tons of New aircraft coming and i don't have to commute to JFK/ATL.. not worth is to me.. As im older with a family.. to each there own.. only have one Major in my sights.. other then that im happy here.. your right. If i was 21, no commitments and from the east coast. They would be top choice..

And how do you suggest we staff all these new airplanes when the bottom falls out of Skywest and newhires start leaving to Endeavor? I’m sure the AA wholly owned are soon to follow.

Just as a reality check for you, Endeavors first year CA pay is higher than Skywests 10 year CA pay. And they are hiring street captains now.

Add in their positive space to work, Delta interview, and all overtime at 150% open time and anything over 85 hours and it’s a no brainer.

Have you seen feild of dreams... joking. But how will the small regionals (600~ pilot size) survive. The majors will hire that many in under a month soon!! Were all screwed. Doesn’t matter if its SkyWest or Compass. Majors will hire over 19,000 pilots in the next 10 years.. game over for all of us.. or game on for all of us going to the Majors..

They won't. If things get out of control they will just shed less profitable 200 flying. There is lots of at risk stuff or short term contracts that can be terminated on short notice.

Agreed on both points.
Skywest can match any rate that becomes industry standard and still be cheaper.
This is a really great time to be alive in the airline world. Anything could happen.

Skywest currently operates 53 crj200 on pro-rate agreements that can be terminated with 120 days notice. That’s a buffer of about 550 pilots.
