I think they were betting on XJT pilots jumping ship to save them but hadn't calculated on Endeavor's upper cut move to the regional industry.

Yeah I've been here at Skywest for about 6 months, ORD 175 FO. The amount of money I could be making there at Endeavor along with only 1000 Turbine required for upgrade as I'm a Restricted ATP make them a no brainer. I've already talked to many new hires and they are considering making the switch also. I don't know how Skywest will fill the new planes. I'm sure they are banking on the west coast bases attracting people.

Jumping ship and going to Skywest?

If you’re gonna jump, do It before it’s too late, get In before others do. No point shorting yourself pay at SkyWest when you could be at endeavor getting paid WAY more and not continuing to tell yourself the OO koolaid is worth the lower pay....

Yup just applied! Thanks for the advice. Love SkyWest and all the people I’ve met but the opportunities at endeavor are just too good to pass up.

I have no doubt SkyWest guys and gals are awesome to work with but at the end of the day you gotta take care of yourself and work for someone who pays you what you’re worth if not better. Good luck and hope to see you at the majors soon! Take care
