I was told AFTER I turned in my badge and all my CASS bennies to find a way to St George and pretty much beg TG for my job back, because he's an understanding guy... That's where I drew the line and said no thanks, at that point I had already talked to other airlines and found employment elsewhere. I was on the horn with SAPA throughout the whole process. Great guys as well, just an unfortunate outcome. I am very very lucky that this happened now, and not 10 years ago because that would have been all she wrote on my airline career. In fact I'm sure I'll be a regional lifer now, explaining that story will be quite the headwind at a major interview down the road

SkyWest is a great place that has great crews and the training is top notch, just be careful if you're a commuter. The lack of any union protection and the "mood" of management on a daily basis is not a good thing IMHO. Just my .02. I'm now returning to my lurker status before I get trolled by the obvious people in this community

Even the sapa guys involved have said there was much more to this story. I feel for you man but it seems as though you’re leaving out some details.

Honestly I have no idea what else I'm missing. I mean if I could I would publish my training records on here and whatever other evidence needed. Thanks for bringing that to my attention though, I'll be in touch with SAPA shortly knowing they're saying that. I went down without much resistance in my opinion, but I won't let the company nor SAPA act like there was more to the story dragging my name through the mudd... And if there was more to story, I'll find out because it will be news to me as well.

MH got removed? Any idea why?

I know TP was removed because he created an adversarial atmosphere with the SLC pilots.

MH was the sorriest excuse for a human being I've ever had the displeasure of flying with. A complete tool who committed three fairly egregious errors of airmanship in the single 2-day I did with him.

MH was LAX and FAT, not the West Coast...

I don't know if you work at Skywest or not but they count days, not trips. If you miss a 4 day trip then it's 4 days.. therefore if you miss a 4 day and 3 day, you miss 7days but 2 trips. The original post said 7 days. so that's my opinion

correction: 7 OCCURRENCES

and that was from BV

This is the way i look at it. There are the same 10-15 people calling out all the things that is wrong at SkyWest union vs not.. SkyWest has 4530 pilot. If there were major issues, (aka pilots fired everyday, disciplinary action, ect) we would have a revolt online. You just dont hear it.. and if Sapa felt that. There are plenty very volcal alpa supporters that would be on here telling everyone to watch out. That just isn’t happening..
