Do you like getting a JS to work when the planes sold out?

That commuter policy you will have to use another benefit of union negotiation. Your welcome, again

More unions the better at the regional level. My sneaking suspicion is that it’s going to be because of the non unionized airlines that our pay and qol doesn’t increase as best it could during the large number of retirements coming up.. the tools will be in the managements pockets, and not ours. Just a suspicion..

Yes you will get one. As long as stINC can continue to hire pilots that are willing to usurp union labor and weaken pilot QOL and bargaining power. Any where ASA held a base you will expand into. You are welcome.

They don't have one? Really well sorry. I thought everyone had that something written in by now that kept them from taking an attendance hit if they could not commute in due to some unforeseen issue such as mx, or severe weather. Skywest really doesn't have that?

amcnd 11-16-2017 04:16 AM

We dont have one because we dont have a max number of attendance violations tell discipline... sapa has said we don't want one tell it becomes a problem.. why put a “number” on violations when right now we dont have a number.. think of it from that prospective...

HuntinFishin 11-16-2017 04:35 AM

That is a very logical perspective I can respect that. So there are no steps of discipline that are cumulative towards termination. If there is no number is the flip side that the company just as well could terminate on your first infraction? I they felt they wanted to could they? I doubt they would mind you , on just one infraction, but could they? Do you get any commuter hotels paid for like some other union regionals I have heard of.

No. With our 18 bases they believe that were not the 2 east coast base commute to work airline. Maybe someday they will..
