We have no junior man. They will call and ask if you want to fly but you are in no way obligated to accept.

Exactly, junior man doesn't exist here.
they do call offering trips in reverse senority order though.

Ahh, ok, good. The post a couple above this said he was junior manned...

Was that due to hidden bonuses outside of the hourly pay and per diem or very minimal reserve time and LOTS of flying?

The thing some people may not realize is at Skywest you will have pay protections such as min day guarantee of 4:12. That isn't the case at every regional. That means if you have a 4 day trip with a lost day in the middle you will still get paid 4:12 for that day of no flying at Skywest. At a regional without that pay protection you won't get paid for that day.
What it comes down to is you will probably credit about 90-95 hours each month at Skywest. Other places you are many times just getting the minimum monthly guarantee.
That's an extra 15-20 hours of pay each month.

As far as pay hours they code it as jr man but it has no where the same meaning as other carriers.

You can't just compare hourly rates. Take a look at the work rules. Minimum daily guarantee, duty guarantee, premium pay, trip rig, holiday pay, etc.. If you don't know what those are and how the other airlines stack up do some research. How does the airline handle block or better. Leg by leg, or some sort of daily guarantee?

Most SkyWest pilots credit significantly more hours than they block every month.

As far as bonus payments. Beyond any sort of new hire payout, there are six a year here. It's an additional several thousand to over $10K a year.

How does LOA work? does it need to be a family death or can you just say I need a break from work for a few months?

How long for a FO based at ORD to have 15+ day off lines?

This is huge, and I miss this greatly. First year guarantee here at 5Y is 50 hours (62 each month after 1 year). It was not unheard of to be removed from your line mid pattern once you had credited 50 hours of pay to be sent home to sit a 10 hour callout at home. This type of reserve is unpaid and there is no line guarantee so if you don't work it you lose it

Of course they're not doing that now due to staffing, but I nearly choked on a chicken bone when I found out about this.

In my opinion, the hard 24 hour 4:12 is better than an ADG. Even at mainline the discrepancy of an average trip credit or daily guarantee per "duty" period brings their 5+ hour trip rigs down.
