I don't think they have ERJs in SLC yet. The Delta 175s are on the west coast

The 175 flys in/out of slc. But no crew base...

No contract. Good luck.

Playing the waiting game just means giving up seniority here. If you choose to wait it out for CPZ you will have given up a ton of seniority here. For example if you wait for compass you may finally have a class but be on RSV for a while, while you could have already been here, gotten your base of choice, and possible have a line.

The above example is just an example and nothing more, but there are a lot of unknowns at CPZ right now and you would be the most junior pilot after a hiring freeze. That's never a good thing.

Thanks so much for the insight. Definitely taking heed. The pilots on this thread are SO much more helpful. And happy, speaks volumes to me.

How many more ERJ's are we scheduled to take this year? Where are they going?

Hey how Jr/Sr is SLC?

Atleast 10 years to hold captain. Could be even longer as there are tons of guys who won't leave SLC.

No pay increase for first year guys. Everyone else got a bump Jan 1st.

Just make sure when you interview you ask about the bonus.

Pretty good chance of SLC out of training or soon after, no chance to hold captain there for at least a decade.

If you want SLC, only the CRJ is flown there.

We get a percentage of the company profits, paid out 2x a year based on credit hours.

401k is 3,5,7% match based on years of service. 5 years at 3%.

It's hard to say, it's currently under 2 years and falling. A new hire could see 1.5 years, 2 is more realistic.

Thank you for responding but could you be little more specific about the 401K? It's a 100% match at 3% and your not vested until 5 years of service?

Your vested day 1. Think he is saying at 5 years thats your match..

Correct 100% vested.
They tried taking that away last pay package but pilot group voted it down.

Sorry, vested 100% from day 1. 3% match for 1-4 years completed service (I take this to mean it jumps on your 5 year anniversary. Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong.) 5% years 5-9. 7% years 10 and up.

And yes, 100% match.

My profit sharing checks have been between $700 and $900 twice a year (and I don't work very much, so that's probably on the low end). You will also start getting quarterly performance bonuses after 1 year I believe.
