Quote: Commuting from MCO just for the first year then I can practically move anywhere
When it comes time to make the move to a legacy/LCC, whether you flew a CRJ or 175 won't matter in getting hired. What will for your sake is the QOL you had while you were at the regionals.
Don't choose a company solely for an aircraft. It might sound good now, but you will regret it down the road.

Wise words indeed. It's impossible to understand how true this is until you've been doing this job a while...

Is ORD a 175-only base? Or is there CRJ as well?

Both. There is no 175 only base here.

Quote: This is pretty true.... There's people here approaching their 1 year anniversary with less than 200 hours in the plane.

Somewhere in there. Coming up on 120 hours in 8 months

Word is they were apparently removed because they tried to use an unauthorized childseat and then became disruptive. They are of course playing the religion card.

For better or worse (you decide) skyw has some of the most by the book (enforcer) FAs I've seen.
I've personally seen many send non-FAA-approved seats to the cargo hold. At that point the customers have two options.
We will see what really happened.
Interesting how the generic lingo of "safety of flight" in the correctly edited light can push everybody to "racism" (bigotry?).
