Because this is aviation...Horizon is probably the best place to go right now to be at the tip of whatever they announce the day after tomorrow. Seems like regionals that look the most bleak transform into "brah, upgradez " I also heard a Skywest Dallas base going to be announced in Sept. Given the Alaska flying, this makes sense along with the continued decline of ExpressJet. Any other basis for that rumor? |

It was all just a bunch of rumors to get junior pilots to pass the crappy TA. SAPA was in on the conspiracy, too. I'm not believing anything until I see it in an official release.

I flew with a captain a couple of weeks ago who supposedly talked to a few big wigs in management about new 900s. Bombardier has around 30-40 new airplanes sitting around that nobody wants and they're willing to sell them for a song and a dance. We'll see how this rumor turns out.
