It's all about who you know ;)

Im sure Horizon is in default with there Alaska service agreement.. but AS also owns them. I think AS is looking long term. And thats may include going back to 1 fleet type. Q400 or E175... time will tell.

AS 700's start flying again tomorrow. One plane doing QX 175 routes..

Never thought we would see those planes flying again.

Hah. Those of us in the NW knew it was inevitable.

People are not wired to cut sunk costs and run. Getting the 175 program up and running was probably really expensive. My money would be that they limp into the autumn reduced schedule and figure things out.
Because this is aviation...Horizon is probably the best place to go right now to be at the tip of whatever they announce the day after tomorrow.
Seems like regionals that look the most bleak transform into "brah, upgradez "

So true.

Filler.

I don't see seniority numbers on the trip awards in PBS Transparency - is there a way to see who got what so we can figure out what we'd get at that base?

Also is there a way to find out how much flying guys on reserve are doing?

Thanks!

elmetal 07-31-2017 11:43 AM

Nope. This was the compromise. Best bet is to find someone at the base near your seniority and ask them what line number they are and go from there.

As far as reserves, message reserve guys and they can look at all other reserve schedules. Limeholders can't. Go figure.

Compromise? Wouldn't the pilots want that info released? Delta does it.

Thanks for the response.
