Does anyone know what the SkyWest background checks involve these days? I have heard it used to be (or maybe still is) just reference checks and 10 year crim history - which shouldn't take them too long I wouldn't think. But I have been waiting for mine to be completed for quite some time now so just curious if there are now additional steps going on. Further, can anyone tell me if they had to wait til they started training for checks to be complete? I have nothing to hide but I still feel uneasy resigning from my current job without knowing for certain they are 100% happy with everything.
Thanks guys! |

Have they taken your fingerprints yet? That is what they submit to get your criminal history check. If you were honest about everthing, you will be fine.

No prints yet. Certainly have no criminal history so all good there I think. Thanks guys, just thought all checks would have been done before even starting class but guess that isn't the way they do it. Makes sense now.
Until your fingerprints are taken during training, the FBI check isn't complete. Don't worry if everything is clean. |
Can anyone who attended CTP recently please tell me how much sim time they acquired from it?

Looks like oo grows by three airplanes in May. More ATL flying.
System wide FO reserve = 12% on both aircraft but CRJ is fat on the west coast and lean in the Midwest. |
