Well, you never once stated if these are used or new airplanes you are hearing about. This is not difficult, nor a dumb question.

Simmer down bud.

We just need them to start rolling out announcements soon.

Because this is aviation...Horizon is probably the best place to go right now to be at the tip of whatever they announce the day after tomorrow.
Seems like regionals that look the most bleak transform into "brah, upgradez "

So true.

Filler.

Agreed. Horizon isn't going to kill their 175 program unless they want to kill one of the few recruiting tools that they have.

We'll see whether they happen or not, but I have a feeling it was all smoke and mirrors to get junior pilots and lifers to vote yes. Also has anyone ever considered that after XJT ceases to exist, someone will be undertaking their CRJ 900 flying? Perhaps SkyWest will be obtaining those 30 aircraft due to XJT's demise.

Anxiously awaiting our demise so you can get the last remaining bit of our flying. Nice to know you are so excited for us to go under. Hopefully not all at your airline are so excited for us to lose our jobs.
Pathetic!

Not all. I promise you not all of us are happy to see what SGU has done to LASA/LXJT.

It's despicable that they brainwash newhires to be excited about people's livelihoods being destroyed. They're just making an example out of xjt as to why "unions are bad, look at xjt" as if they didn't have 100% control of what happened.

You know, most SkyWest pilots I've met (at least the more senior ones) have been great folks. I honestly believe that a 3 way integration with SKW, ASA, and us at XJT would have made us an unstoppable airline. It's sad how this played out, and how tools like Dusenwhateverhisnameis are salivating over the carcass of a nearly dead airline. There is zero class and decorum from people like that. Thankfully, those with that attitude are in the minority over there.

I don't think they brainwash anyone, people are in it for themselves every airline is like that because of the seniority system, once ppl can rub to brain cells together they realize it's ppls livelihoods, mortgage etc etc on the line

That seems more likely. Close the Xjet DFW base and open a SkyWest DFW base.

Rinse and repeat for ATL, and NYC.
