Reserve rewrite sailed a long time ago along with any kind of goodwill for TG from the pilot group.

SkyWest is still near the top in total career compensation. I am ok with industry lagging new hire bonuses now that first year pay has been brought inline with the rest of the pay scale.

Other than Alaska, everyone is more or less scoped out...

I also heard the 900 rumor.

I believe that American has room in their scope for more 65 seaters, and the rumor revolves around CRJ 900s with lots of first class... oh, and a DFW base!

There is easily room for over 200 new planes for the big guys when you look at the number leaving the system.

I know that outside of Skywest there is talk of Skywest going into DFW in a big way. I imagine that would be American? Then there is MSP and DFW where Delta wants lots more Skywest service for their reliability. The boys from St Louis are not up to par I guess. Might Delta be going in with the 900s? How many 900s can Delta fly and how many do they have?

Everyone is talking of the new ERJs going to MSP for Delta but United in ORD would be a better bet. United somewhere anyway. They hate the 700s and want lots more ERJs.

Skywest is the only regional with financing in place to do any big deals. The question is, who is going to fly the planes? They need to bump their pay scale up to keep their numbers growing. They are filling their classes with FOs and their upgrade time is 9 months in DTW because the others don't have the 1000 121 time. What they need to hire is Captains.

Skywest isn't having any issues filling classes, till they do pay won't go anywhere.

175 is coming to MSP real soon. Obviously Delta. Heard it from maintenance, which I have found to be the most credible source. They are expanding the maintenance team and are all getting sent to school for 175 training. It will be interesting to see how jr it goes.
