So we're done hiring people into the ERJ..? Just had a buddy with a job offer, today, yet only on the CRJ because there's "no more spots" on the ERJ.

Finally, Christ, I mean with an extra 150 FOs just sitting , I was wondering when that would happen.

Count on no more than 25 hours short on TT and Multi time when you get here.

By ATP checkride realistically you'll have 50ish hours in the sim or something like that (unless your procedures are in the matrix now).

Only can be used for TT and Multi, no night time no x-country etc. People assume you can "make the sim nighttime" but you can't. So at minimum show up 25 hours short and have at least 25 hours ACTUAL multi and you'll be fine.

Lots of people misinterpret and come up short. Had 2 people in my class who had to go rent an airplane on the weekend to fulfill night time and total time.

What he said, you must have all ATP requirements met except you can be 25 hours short on ME and TT only.

If that's not clear to you, read part 61 in excruciating detail.

Not surprised....they've gotten just about all the initial 175 order and most of the majors are scoped out.

I'd doubt that transitions could cover attrition. But the 3 July class will hit the line in time for the reduced Fall scheduled.
A short pause would make sense.

SAPA has agreed to a new contract that will be put to vote.

We all know what it's going to look like, increased first yr bonuses and pay.

I encourage everybody to vote NO! Unless there is meaningful gains to 3-10yr range captain pay. After all that's where you'll be spending the majority of your time with the company.

We should be as stubborn as possible.

I encourage everyone to vote yes.. the Reps obviously passed it. So they wouldn't send us something that is not good for us. Or the company....

I think growth would be realy good for the 3-10 year Captains...

Agreed, at this rate first year FOs will be making more than the captain!

Seriously? Just because SAPA passed it - it must be good?

We all have seen this movie before. Let's take a good look at what is being offered but it would be foolish to assume that there isn't any more room for more.

We haven't even seen the proposal yet. How can you decide yes or no, either way without even knowing what the proposal includes?
