You want ME to get a clue? Like I said, I've flown for many companies in many types of flying. This crap is easy. What's your background?

And what exactly is that? More complaining? If you hate it, move on. You may find this hard to believe, but many before you realized that better opportunities are out there and they went after them. It's called career progression.

Here is the cold hard truth for anyone thinking of coming here:
You will sit reserve, you won't break guarantee due to the company bending the rules to make sure of it!
When your busy busting your butt to make sure you get an time departure you get NO bonus (sorry have to be 2 years).
You will get "delayed" into your days off with nothing more than oh well it's your trip so you have to do it, and you get nothing!!!!
Your "vacation" will be canceled due to company needs if somehow your awarded vacation.
The ONLY days off you can guarantee are your sick days, and even those are being questioned now.
Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere that has real work rules instead of "that's the way we've always done it" and that actually pays what a pilot should be worth instead of padding managements bonuses!

Hauler can you possibly make one sensible post instead of 3??? I don't even know where to start with 3 shot gun reactions...

Wait a minute, you live in SLC and your vast experience is at OO??? Wtf, I know of CP position and LR60 position open in over there....skeletons?

How long have you been here? You still reserve?

Mowgli65 08-11-2017 11:51 PM

What does that have to do anything? Let's just say I'm more senior than you

We are deeply divided between the status quo and the pilots who actually want to make this place worth while for everyone. Step one: new sapa reps that have a backbone, starting at the top!!!!

There were approximately 700 or so who did NOT vote. Of the 53% who voted yes, most were pilots who've been here a long time. Stop blaming "newbs" for something they had no knowledge or control of to begin with. Also, I don't hear anyone talking about this place being the best place since sliced bread or anything similar. You may find this shocking, but there are many jobs out there far worse than this. Nobody duct taped you and forced you to work at OO. That was your choice. It's also yours to move on to greener pastures. Your constant complaining and inaccurate bashing isn't going to change things.

Mowgli65 08-11-2017 11:59 PM

Any yes voters with less than 10 years on property care to chime in? I would love to hear the thought process on your yes vote.

No, I flew other types of flying before this, including charter in Lears. What does a CP position have anything to do with my background?
