We haven't even seen the proposal yet. How can you decide yes or no, either way without even knowing what the proposal includes?

Agreed!

You saw it here first:

First-year pay starts at year 1 captain pay, then goes back to the FO payscale for year 2 and subsequent years. Newhires don't read the PPM anyway, they'll never know til it's too late.

I encourage everybody to vote NO! Unless there is meaningful gains to 3-10yr range captain pay. After all that's where you'll be spending the majority of your time with the company.

We should be as stubborn as possible.

Any idea roughly when the contents will be released to the pilot group? Gotta choose which regional to go to in the next month or two. Would hope it'd be pay rates instead of a bonus. I'd becoming too early to be covered by any bonus I imagine.

They said we will get a preview of the package early June, but who knows when it will be passed...

There is no way the pay raise is significant or at all.

My first line item in negotiations would be that retro pay is understood for all future SkyWest negotiations that happen under expired "agreements "
This costs zero and I'd have zero hope for it.
Then $2.50 per diem.

Ok 9%'rs. Lets hold off tell we see it... (you will always get the vocal "NO" no mater what on these boards). If you want to show big brass and stand tall go to a major, you will never get to wear orange lanyards here..

This will be a tiny raise for anyone already on the hook...err..I mean line. Newhires/first year people will probably see a bump. You can tell from the email that they're already selling the potential for new flying.....

Either this one will pass as is or the next one with $0.02 more an hour will pass 6 months from now. It. Will. Happen.

With bonuses because I don't know any airline that decreases pay year 2 and on. Surely with a sign on bonus the year 1 pay will decrease year 2 but not base pay.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have yet to see that on APC.

What's wrong with Horizons new contract btw? It had no increase in pay for those past year 3 because I thought their contract got passed pretty easily.
