Heard the company came to SAPA to reduce the required time for upgrade. It should go reduced for the March upgrade class.

Not a fan unless we get something tangible in return.....QOL will never be improved with slightly better staffing. They will just go out and add more flying.

Let me know which future flights will have a sub-2500 hours captain so that I can tell my family to steer clear of them.

I bet they lower the 121 time... TT may be a insurance reason.. Regardless, February classes DVR is out and 40 CRJ captains and 27 ERJ Captain ls. CRJ is mostly DTW/ATL. ERJ ORD/SAN mostly.. im guessing more newhire captains. Just ran into a NH, he’s in Sim Loft Training and heads to Captain Upgrade in 2 weeks...

...lower the 121 time? I've got a feeling the feds won't approve of that ;)

1000 121 is a FAR. The total time of 2500 is not.

Looks like ATL will soon be the 6th largest domicile (out of 15) on the CRJ.

I'm guessing the ERJ upgrade will drop to 2 years with the increase in ORD.

Hope you're telling them to avoid every non-Skywest operated flight then.

So they get what they want, whenever they want it?

Yes, that's what it means to not have a contract/union.

I’m guessing that you are talking about the ERJ upgrade dropping to around 2 years over the course of the next few DVRs. Does not look like it will get there on this one.

... you need to re read your FARs.

I mean really, why have some pesky written document when management can just make rules and policy as they please?
