Yes some reps voted no. After voting yes to send the package to the pilots. Two different things.

At least one was hoping for a resounding defeat at the hands of the pilots, to send a message. Obviously that didn't work out.

Of course some did, although they were probably of the 10-11 month variety. There's a reason NOBODY else lets new hires vote. You need to walk in someones shoes before you can make decisions on their behalf, newhires are still trying to wash off the koolaid marinade.

Great anology for not wanting to better yourself or the industry. You all had the perfect opportunity to stand up and fight to be paid like a professional airline pilot like the rest of the industry is doing. But instead you vote in paltry yearly increases starting at 2% then 1% for the next 4 years. Thanks for raising the bar.

I voted NO but.... I’m tired of people saying 1%. If we want to be technical, the hourly went up 1% but after the pilot profit sharing is thrown in there I saw about an additional $5 per hour. So on my hourly rate that’s about 11% from this years PPS.

Joking aside how many times do you want to hear those of us who voted no say “thanks” for raising the bar?

Legit, doesn’t it get old coming into the OO forums and writing the same thing time and time again? The “majority” of us get it, 9E is great today. Maybe get some West Coast bases and more peeps from OO and the other West Coast airlines will make the jump.

At least we have something to get erased. A union shop has a legally enforceable contract that can be brought to court for dispute resolution if other methods fail. With a 'handbook' or policy manual, there is no legal channel you can take except stomping your feet. If things got real bad, your only recourse would be to find individual pilots who were harmed, get them to sue and then take that lawsuit and elect it as a class action. Oh and of course pass a hat around to pay for legal fees. After all, a management funded SAPA surely will not litigate against the company.
