I’m not sure if the timeline is misleading. It makes it sound like you can fly corporate with one of the partners straight out of flight school with very low time. I don’t mind flying a challenger or a citation and bypass the CFI route but it sounds too good to be true.
It specifically says “decide on flight experience pathway: CFI or Corporate”.
CFI and THEN corporate would sound more realistic.
Agreed. I think insurance requirements alone will force the typical CFI -> Corporate path for anyone going this way but I’m not 100%...

I will actually. Because I know how it works. I don't blame the tools. I blame the crotchety fat man who can't use them. The biggest danger to a commercial flight isn't automation. Its the risk you put into the system by thinking you're smarter than everyone else. People are the risk. If you don't understand that then it's retirement time. Seriously.

Thanks for the flying lesson. You seriously need to do more homework. Come back when you’re a little wiser. Garbage in, garbage out isn’t always the issue. If you haven’t learned that by now then you are very naive. Perhaps your age isn’t really the issue.

You have a point, but do you realize the difference in working life between an XOJet and a regional?

Working out of a nice FBO, NO TSA, no airport bus terminals. Good catering, layovers in places like Aspen instead of Buffalo. Its night and day.

Of course you have to deal with the Biebers of the world smoking dope in your jet, but its better than the average regional customer.

That's an interesting comment. I wonder if a lot of airline managers would prefer Medicare covered employees to lower their direct insurance costs. Now, that's food for thought.

Do you fly a 737? Fly the Max? Tell me how that automation worked out. 346 dead and so far $4.6B in losses. How's that for automation?

Is age discrimination also in play for those younger than 23 to hold an ATP? It’s always been about fairness, right?
