Do your 800s have 1 or 2 jumpseats

2. There may be a very select few AirTran that have 1 like the -700’s, but I can’t remember.

AirTran never operated the -800, only Southwest, and they were all delivered with 2 jump seats.

30 of the 52 AirTran -700 aircraft have one JS. These are the ones that were owned by them. Their Leased -700's have two. Other used aircraft that were acquired also have one JS. Around 60ish with 1 seat.

As stated above ALL -800's and Max8's have TWO jumpseats.

67 aircraft with one jumpseat, according to the list SWAPA has on their site. (Updated in March)

Ya my grammar was really bad in that statement. Do the gate agents have the ability to see if there is 1 or 2 when people list?

I believe not. SWAPA has that list because the reservation system can’t differentiate.

I guess it would be real fun to have a JS2 on your pass and get down there with the Swiss cheese seat looking back at you.

I’ve seen it happen. The gate doesn’t know. Sometimes a sharp OPS agent will take a look when they meet the aircraft.
