hopefully active pilot status holds true if there is a merger and one is out on exto

No different than being out on medical when a merger happens. On the list is on the list.

Gotta admit that it's bugging me over on the union forum how many people are trying to poke holes in the offer. And it bothers me when someone over 60 takes pride in telling everyone why they AREN'T going to take it.

Of course they've earned the right to make whatever decision is best for they and their family, but they need to remember that very real jobs on the bottom of the list are depending on this program. So greed, nitpicking, or boastful non participation should be politely kept to ones self. This is emotional. They need to understand that FOs are watching all of this with nail biting anxiety.

Ahh crap, sorry forgot about the seat reservation stuff. My apologies

Meh, they can work themselves to the bone for that very last tfp on their very last day for all I care. That will just drive the exto further down the list. There are going to be plenty of takers. I feel much better about the future than I did on May 31st.

Thats why I rarely go over there anymore. Too much doom and gloom. Just when I started thinking I was pretty much out of the danger zone. Ugh. Guess ill keep contributing to my furlough fund for now.

The swapa forum is a cesspool and I second that how they are trying to poke holes in any offer. It’s almost as if they are trying to sway others not to take it by coming up with these crazy scenarios that will never happen. The pay works out to be 75% of your guaranteed monthly TFP! If any of these morons think it’s going to be where they can get plenty of trips like the old days they are nuts.

Who else is going to be forced to listen to their MAGA, Democrat blaming, libtard calling, flight attendant hating, company blaming, aircraft swap complaining, fly it like a 200. etc etc etc etc etc?

Ugh Leave already.

When I turn the hot mic off and start reading the FOM it’s probably a good indication I don’t care about politics or anything else you have to say.

On the bright side, you can take a 5 year EXTO and not have to listen to any of it for the next 5 years. Heck, it'll give you a chance to work on Bernie's next run for President. Should be a hoot
