Seriously, WGAF. Only courtesy I appreciate from the previous seat occupant is to put some slack into the seat belt. I’m fairly thin, so it’s often not a problem cause we have a lot of chunkies out there... a lot. If they don’t leave me some slack I really don’t care and move on with my life.

Weird flex, but okay.

My thinking to the OP is the guy or gal flys with them near or close to the fwd stop, then lifts the seat all the way up to make it easier to get out with long legs to get over the console maybe? On another note...how about the standard way to leave the crew car? My personal favorite is seats normal to lull the next guy into a false sense of security, then ensure childlocks set on windows, Max Heat set on the AC, sideviews full down, radio tuned to local Tejano station and set to full vol

Heh, I used to do that on the 1900 back in the day. Find the most obnoxious station I could on the ADF, flip on the speakers at full volume, then shut down the plane for the next guy.

You also have my permission to leave the belts hanging off the sides as opposed to folded neatly on the seat. My first action will be to push them off the sides as to not sit on them.

Haha true. I'm guilty of crossing them every time. At least it appears that I at least TRIED to clean up after myself.

If and when that day comes at SWA I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about. Relax!
Name calling now? (starting to remember why I quit coming to this forum). I was describing the industry as a whole. SWA may not be getting WARN letters but I’m quite sure GK has also expressed dire concerns if conditions don’t reverse soon(?). WN has a solid cash position but when air travel gets decimated, it’s only a matter of time before additional steps are taken to stop the hemorrhaging. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.

By your tone I would’ve suspected you were getting furloughed. Enjoy the fact you’re not, take your own advice and try not to be so defensive (Relax).

To the great folks at SWA, I truly hope you never get WARN letters. Some airlines are impacted more than others but the whole industry will likely suffer come contract negotiations, among other things. To an extent, we are all connected and few will come away unscathed.

Hopefully we can get through this soon.

Best Regards,

‘Skippy’

I kinda gave up on forums too, unless really bored. It's sad because APC used to be a great resource. Lack of interest, declining membership, meaningless topics, turf battles and testosterone. The increase in sponsored ads show traditional forums giving way to other social media and could go the way of email chains of the 90's.

lighten up Francis.

Btw, I’m one of those guys that puts the seat aft and down, pedals full forward, and belt laid nicely in the seat. I was taught this in IOE so I’ve just always done it.
