I know everyone says we’re unnecessarily fat but if you look at they had planned this was long term stuff - Denver terminal expansion, ORD, MiA this stuff doesn’t just happen overnight. They were gearing up for a huge uptick and then the max and now this

Who cares? It's not the SuperBowl. They're just guys trying to make a living flying airplanes like us. Not everything has to be a measuring contest.

So should be hand out participation trophies too? Would you rather see the airline that pays your salary crush the competition, or just maintain the status quo because we're all just trying to make a living and we're all in this together?

Man, I hate to be the one to tell you this but Shoeless Joe’s left that location in Rosemont, they’re supposedly in Schaumburg now (NW side of airport versus the NE). I found out the hard way one night after my commute in, I nearly cried.

“Crushing” the competition (especially in this COVID world) is how you keep those paychecks coming. Participation alone doesn’t pay the bills, or the salaries.

Also helps career progression....

Gain market share, make profit, expand, grow, hire, gain seniority, upgrade - or - be stagnant, furlough, start over at bottom.

I’d rather be the former than the latter....
