Just to confirm, the 737 uses two pin headset cords correct?

Default Spirit to Southwest?

Is there a Southwest pilot that used to be at Spirit that wouldn't mind DM'ing me? Thanks everyone

Question for the pilot group.

As new hire, living in NYC, looking into commuting, which would be the ideal base to get out of training?

Why would you come here if you want to live in NYC? BWI would be your best bet with flights from LGA and ISP on us

I am done with 135/91 flying, I am not willing to move my family, and also because UNITED, AA or DELTA didnt call.

How many flights a day are there, direct from LGA to BWI? Any idea? Isnt MDW better? I have no idea.

I used to do that. PM me if you want more info.
I did BWI and that was before we had lga-bwi flights. Used other airlines. You can also take Amtrak which was very nice but pricey.
I didnt go to MDW because I was worried about not getting in in the winter. Hence Amtrak.
It's easy to get to BWI it sucks getting home with sold out flights and any wx in NYC are and everything is delayed or cancelled.
Good luck in what you choose. For me I moved to a base after a yr.

You need to google “passrider timetable” for your frequency questions.

Also, if you really want to work at Delta, they’ll call you as soon as you get a job at SWA. They be loving poaching’ some pilots. And it be showin’…..

MDW commuting sucks, the runways are short so it’ll be weight restricted in the 800/MAX when the runways are wet or contaminated and it will get even worse in the winter.
