I wouldn’t be surprised if they open it as a FA only virtual base just to spite us for picketing there.

Getting back to BNA as a crew base. I remember Pete McGlade (former VP is Schedule Planning) telling my new hire class that BNA would never be a base. His reasoning was that he could originate a plane on the East Coast and have it be in BNA in time to be an originator therefore there wouldn’t be enough planes overnighting in BNA to justify a base. Of course a lot had changed since he planned the flights for Herb.
