I don’t know if you recall, but the same thing happened with the United TA. Rates were leaked that were bogus. I am sad to say, I highly doubt these will be the rates given for our consideration. Not to say they shouldn’t be, but I would be floored to see these rates without concessionary asks elsewhere. Again, not saying that’s right. C2020 Flightplan all the way…WITH these rates at DOS, would garner my vote.

Right. I am a realist, but I also know my worth.
These rates look great, but I am looking for massive improvements with this contract.
We are in a rare moment where leverage is on our side and labor is gaining traction in the US economy after years of being dismembered by a mixture of politics and labor bloat and incompetence.
I have my own third rails, which I won't relate here. I also know that there will certainly be SOMETHING I don't like in the TA that we will eventually get. It's just a fact.
Perfect is the enemy of good.

I also highly doubt the validity of these rates, but they are at least in the ballpark of what I would accept.

Please for the love of god do NOT repeat the Alaska thread. We all need to be shooting for the moon and all on the same team.

Man what a bunch of suckers at SWA, Delta has a potential contract that is way better!

Yes, vote just went over 1600… pretty funny because no one on here could find anyone voting yes🤔
You all are going to have to beat your drums a lot louder, and get a lot of people to go back in and change their votes… good luck with that😂

Just got back from the 7-11 with “the potential Powerball” winner. Anyone want to buy it off me for let’s say 500,000k… I mean it’s the “potential winner” and in my heart, I really believe it’s true.
I can’t believe I’m quoting OTZeagle1 from the Alaska APC forums because he’s usually the equivalent (or worse) of our TSMITR, but here he made a very good point when somebody posted SWA’s “potential” “whisper” rates “leaked” from management.

Sheesh, everyone, go reread mouthbreather’s post like 50 times. He’s, as they say, “spot on.” The “leaking” of these rates is designed to play us.

Dont fall for it. Most of it, it seems, are falling for it. Remember, we’re up against a management group that, along with their hired guns from places like FordHarrison, have been playing us for 51 years. And here we go again.Getting played.

If we’re ever going to get an industry-leading contract, we need to play the game much, much smarter.

I’ll believe these rates when me sheet turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet.

Rates mean nothing absent any context (i.e. work rules). Wait for the whole enchilada and then decide.

Why are we negotiating in public here? Squash it until there’s something tangible to dissect. This thread should go the way of the dodo.

Exactly. It's completely irrelevant what the rate is out of context.

What if the above rates were true, but they redefined 1 TFP to be 2 hours of flight time or 500 miles? Dropped the guarantee to 50 TFP? Changed from lines to PBS further diluting the value? Cut everybody to two weeks of vacation?

All of this is meaningless without a complete TA in hand.

You can count on the sick time being changed. They have wanted to change that for a while
