Exactly. The sick time accrual alone (assuming you don't retire without using it) is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars per pilot.

If you ever have to burn it because of something and then try to rebuild it in your wanning years the accrual rate is not nearly enough. There is no way I vote for something that takes sick time away or does anything but increase it. That plus a lot of other things

Bingo. Let’s bring our STD/LTD, LOL up to industry standard and then we wouldn’t feel compelled to have to build our sick bank to 600 TFP to cover being out for six months.
