Another that likes to divide and doesn’t get it. That’s what is absolutely rich. Remember the yr 1-5 pilots hired now mostly will have a 35-40 yr career here. So count those 75 rates you will be on for a few years as a win. Just remember those rates they will be under for 30-35 years compound every contract and every raise. They would be fools to be swindled with 75 rates for such a short period. Both should be up there.

I never said a freaking thing about 757 pay. I think those leaked rates along with everything else leaked are mostly BS.
FO pay needs fixing. That's all I said. It is a company problem and the company solution is to fix it. The thing is, if they do fix it, you rabble rousers will be wanking about it because it is somehow stealing from you. GMAFB. You sound like a bunch of cry babies. We are all in this together. Fix the B scale. |

The captains who are already throwing a temper tantrum about the FO's making 757 pay sure do sound like the "me too" FA's in the van. All while making $350-400k a year. Absolutely rich.
There are no captains that don't want FOs to not make 757 pay. Hopefully most pilots will spend most of their career in the left seat. We've never had a better opportunity to lock in 757 rates for "ALL" pilots at Southwest. This would set a huge precedent moving forward. |

757 rates are not sufficient. They aren't much higher than 737 rates. If we are going to be industry leading career compensation, rates (FO and Captain) need to be somewhere between 757 and true widebody rates (A350) to account for the reality that our pilots have no opportunity to move to the higher widebody payscales. This would also help compensate for our long upgrade times. Even if everything else in a proposed contract is good, 757 rates would be a hard no for me.

Absolutely true. The years 2-5 FOs trailed the curve for years.
Also, I find it funny that the same guys who have been screaming "I'M A NO" without having seen an actual TA are now berating people who are saying "I'M A YES" without having seen an actual TA. (hint: neither is a smart way to approach this) You guys are a hoot. Bring popcorn to the roadshow. I said from the beginning they should release the whole deal without pay rates for a few days first, and this group did exactly as we predicted. Getting all wound up about rumored pay rates without seeing the rest of the deal. SMH. |

I agree with you, I am not even talking about pay rates, I just think it is funny how these CA's are saying its not fair they dont get the same bump, but had no issue with the FO's not getting equal bumps in the past. I am a firm maybe vote and I have tried my best to avoid any speculation of what may be in the eventiual contract. I will wait to read it and judge it as a whole.

I just got a sneak peak at the complete contract for about 5 minutes.
FO pay scale is Delta 757 pay rates + 1% CA pay scale is Delta 737-9 pay rates + 1% NEC was 17 up to 18. Didn’t get a look at the MBCP Company paid life insurance 800k 2.5% bonus each year we go without a new contract ratified ELITT across months, opens on 23rd, ELITT out to 2 days instead of 4 VPF goes away turns into voluntary double time JA gives you a Personal net zero (PNZ) to drop any day regardless of DTC Split to cover is almost completely eliminated “Extended delay pay” 1 TFP for an extended delay within a pairing. No 1:1 duty rig pay after 10 hours. Retro was big. Totaled 29% I believe, with 23% in 2023. Can’t remember the other numbers. 5 year contract Crew meal pay 20$ for flights over 4 hours per diem goes to IRS maximum Theyre stuck in implementation right now trying to get training bidding implemented. Company wants to push it late into the contract like 2027 There was a hard duty limit stop. Think it was 12 hours. 13.5 if there’s a deadhead. That’s all I can remember for right now… Those rumored pay rates that look like they’re made in excel are actually real. They’re within a dollar of the actual rates. epic troll post it seems got everyone real worked up |

I saw his post history and I too am skeptical of his inside information. I'll wait to read the final product and get my information from official sources before making a final decision.
