How long can the NMB put us on ice? Can the NMB be taken at its word if they tell us they're going to keep us on ice for such-and-such period of time? Does the NMB use pressure tactics?
Suggest you read this post from last year that goes into detail explaining the fallacy behind your statement regarding being iced and then having "no strike leverage to fall back on." Myths and bullsh** that cost you millions PS, I think Lew said sometime later that average time in mediation right now is around 700 days.

I’ve read everything. If we turn down an industry leading contract, we won’t see another for a long time. New NC, nmb ice, age 67 and who knows what the economy will do. I’m not saying to accept a bad deall.. don’t think SWAPA would send one after this long.. but try and be intelligent enough (or find someone who is) to judge on its entirety and not your ego.

Most of the rumored stuff is turdville. Flush it.
$12 BILLION dollars of stock buybacks.
Robbed our profit sharing to pay off management induced meltdown.
Gave themselves bonus right after.
Know your worth and if it's a turd vote NO.
Even the flight attendants stood tall.

Look it's the old "they'll put us on ice, they'll never let us strike, the sky is falling, time value of money" argument straight from management playbook.

the FA’s blew it and made up a vote fraud to get a second chance to pass because they know it will also be a long time for them as well.

You seem to be advocating for lowering that worth because you are scared.

The market sets what we are worth, generally speaking. Just because we think it’s more, doesn’t make it reality. Industry leading, even if by 1% is still the highest paid NB in the world. Good luck fighting the NMB over that.

My first contract. The front row seat to this has only reinforced my apprehension of the union and my view that my fellow pilots are spectacularly unimpressive at most things outside of simply flying. A few are unimpressive at that too. Here’s to the next ten years of complaining about our contract, the company running circles around language again, grievances piling up, and everybody claiming that they voted no. 😂 It will be different next time with swapa 3.0

The market DOES set the price and Southwest can't hire or retain enough quality candidates at "narrowbody" rates.
You can either realize this and get paid what you're worth..... or just tattoo "narrowbody" as your tramp stamp because that is where the company negotiators are putting it.
