Attrition has slowed because FDX, UPS stopped hriing, and the big three pulled back a bit. If everyone was hiring gangbusters I would be it wouldnt have slowed as much.

Winter is always more Sr for upgrade. Summer is more Jr. Prob hover around 7-9 yrs until we actually have some growth to write home about.

I think attrition slowed because everyone is holding off to get retro before leaving. I know a couple of guys holding CJO's to legacies and they will leave shortly after. They are kind of senior on the FO side as well. The true test will start after that. With the Max issues and this airlines dependency on them it might add to some additional attrition. AA hasn't slowed hiring at all. They can't considering all the retirements they have. Someone said something like 5k in the next 5 years.

It's amazing how some of the biggest complainers here won't leave for what's clearly a superior career... I wonder why.

Anyone heard anything about when a hiring window might be opening up? Or any other updates from NGPA?

At NGPA SW said it would resume hiring late Q3 or Q4 due to the lower attrition rate. Basically told everyone thanks for the interest keep your hopes up and check back in several months. Similar comments from many airlines.
