Lmao yea I guess technically he/she is “driving”. I’d say driving 2 hours back and forth after finishing up at midnight and busting his/her ass flying the typical
Southwest 5 legs a day schedule will get really old really fast. Oh, and they get the privilege of doing that on a 73. Ooooffffff!!

Only if you get turned on by widebodies, which I don't. Besides, I didn't throw any stones... I paid my homage to the mighty Delta Air Lines, complimented him on his ability to choose his narrowbody career due to the unfortunate aspect of how many pilots Delta Air Lines hired in the last 10 years, plus many Delta Air Lines passengers being flown daily on their JV partners due to much of Delta Air Lines' WB flying being done on foreign carriers translating to far fewer opportunities for the best of the best pilots in the industry in comparison to the other legacies, then invited him to ****** right off of our forum with his trolls and his chronic assholia.

I’ve been here about 2 years and have never flown a 5 leg day…actually only really seen it rarely on the west coast. Keep making stuff up though, it’s cool, doesn’t seem bitter at all.

If you ask a UA or DL pilot all we do is 5 leg days to MAF and all they do is 80 hour Paris/Tokyo layovers.
Its also funny to note.. out of my small sample size friend group the most vocal and knoledgable about SWA are the same people who interviewed and were turned town, some twice. Not saying SW is the ultimate, but its an intresting observation.

Idk I’ve flown plenty five leg days at my previous employer. I think the amount of legs you fly per day is irrelevant to what this discussion is really tailored towards, which is long duty days followed by min rest periods. I’ve had a few of those at American, it’s exhausting, and both were only two legs.

Our in house Union Hotel Committee ensures SWA pilot standards in terms of quiet restful sleep, nutritious responsive food options, and timely professional transportation are always met at SWA. It's run by Pilots that are held accountable to the Pilot Group, and feedback from the Pilot Group is constantly encouraged, as it's fed back into a quality control feedback loop.

Ooof - awesome credit for a domestic 4-day for sure, but man, that schedule makes me breakout in hives.
Not about destinations to me, but there's no denying the difference in workload between the above and a WB schedule. If you're able to manage rest (not all can), there isn't much better for a work/pay ratio.
I still wouldn't want to commute vs drive, but I'd find it hard, especially at such a young age, to deny myself the ability to try the WB lifestyle.
