Not you. For whatever reason when you quote their post it makes it look like you wrote it. The same thing happened to you. After posting this reply, it now shows me quoting myself so I don't know what's going on lol

Quote: Uh, that's not a "nice" one. Better than most but definitely still subpar.
Quote: Not even close.... or maybe it's the room I got. I've had much nicer rooms in the third world countries than DAL DT. Furniture all worn out and dilapidated.
Quote: the nicest DT I’ve stayed in was TPA. Rooms are nice and updated
I guess I remember it differently, for better or worse.

Quote: Team,

I have CJOs at both airlines. I will live 2hrs from a SWA base, but I will need to commute to AA with 5 flights a day for each CLT or MIA about an 80 min flight for each. Also, I’ll be military in a local reserve flying unit.
Not at either, always just curious when I see these threads.

I assume you’re in the JAX area based off times. Might be better with more information given since the drive would be to MCO if true and I’ve heard that is more senior at SWA.

It is more senior as of now, but I think once BNA opens that will shift there. MCO will still be more senior than most but FO's were getting in fairly quickly.

MCO is stupid senior for cptns and very senior for FOs. BNA opening might make it a little less senior but I doubt by much. We’ll see in a month or two.

Currently MCO is junior for FOs. Hasn't been the case historically but even some newhires have been able to bid for it over the last year or so.

New hires are getting MCO right now. Get's top heavy as you move up the list however.

BNA is projected to be junior on the FO side. Very very senior for CAs.

Yup, MCO has been a perpetually senior base since it opened in 2001.

Just as an idea of how senior MCO CA is, I've been sitting at around the 10% mark for 3 or 4 years now. I'd be well under the top 10% in almost every other domicile except PHX and LAS E. Most bases I'd be in the 3-5% range.

Every time someone retires out of MCO, another senior pilot or 2, pre positioning for retirement come in to replace them.

There is also a long line of Capts. commuting from MCO because they cannot hold it, waiting to be able to get back as well as some LCs, but that's not gonna be in an issue going forward.

Hopefully, a lot of those folks that would otherwise go to MCO to retire will choose BNA in the future.

We'll see.
