Our in house Union Hotel Committee ensures SWA pilot standards in terms of quiet restful sleep, nutritious responsive food options, and timely professional transportation are always met at SWA. It's run by Pilots that are held accountable to the Pilot Group, and feedback from the Pilot Group is constantly encouraged, as it's fed back into a quality control feedback loop.

There have been hits and misses. NYC downtown has been a home run.
SLC has been a home run.
Portland has been a miss.
Sacramento PM has been a miss.
But I believe that we are about to see a whole lot more home runs.
The SWAPA guy who wrote the new hotel language and the hotel guide was in charge of the hotel committee at Comair for years. He is passionate about hotels. He ran contract admin here for years and is known to be a pit Bull. He will hold the company's feet to the fire on that new language. I've known this guy for twenty plus years. There is NO question in my mind that he will drive improvements that will benefit this pilot group.

Savannah is excellent now. Also, the St. Francis in SFO? The drive will be interesting but dang—that’s a high dollar place.
