Quote: It’s funny how easily you forgot about those 1,221 furlough letters. You guys are all living in the past. Every post referencing something from over 10 years ago, it’s just embarrassing.
Funny, AA actually furloughed…UAL and DAL took paycuts. All of the Big 3 sent out WARN letters.

yeah, embarrassing

SWA would have never destroyed their BS reputation of never furloughing if they weren’t dead set on furloughing 1,221 pilots. Those WARN letters weren’t for show. This isn’t Herbs airline anymore. If we have another recession SWA will furlough just like the rest to save an extra penny for the street.

And after all the dust has settled here you are riding Delta’s coattails with your new contract. You’re welcome btw.

Cool story, big guy

Quote: You posted your year 2 earnings in another thread, I out-earned you in year 2 by about 30k with our old numbers…I’ll destroy your year 3 with our new contract…outpaced year 1 by 20k and that’s without NEC. In 2 years I’m up at least 50k (77k if you count NEC you didn’t get NH year and PS that AA hasn’t had in years), but go off I guess
Cool story. I’m in the left seat now, so no, you won’t. I also highly doubt you out earned me on a $/TAFB basis. Congratulations, you worked more.

Quote: It’s a poll regarding SWA on a SWA forum. The butthurt with some of you AA cheerleaders is strong. Why?
Zero butthurt. Just a counter argument on a “SWA or AA” thread.

You said you “destroyed” my earnings in every single metric, now it’s just your precious “TAFB”…lol I’m not the one on other airline threads trying to justify why the airline I chose is the right one, sounds like some sort of coping strategy. As has been said, we’ll see in 20 years who made the right choice.

You're still here? Welcome for what? The turd pay rates that caused literally every major airline CEO to breathe a huge sigh of relief and rush to settle their pilot contracts while choking in giddy saying how "the market is now settled?" Yeah... thanks....

And as I said before, congratulations on having a fantastic narrowbody career at Delta Air Lines. You're now part of the elite that's mastered giving away flying because you are simply just too good to do... from regional jet flying done by US contractors which Delta Air Lines actually mastered to widebody flying done by Delta Air Lines' JV and codeshare partners because you are just too good to fly anything... PERIOD. Terrific... now again, kindly f@@k off back to Delta Air Lines forums and keep your trolling and chronic assholia over there.

Um, yeah, my time is precious to me, so measuring how much I give away for a dollar seems pretty logical. I also highly doubt your claim that you made $250k with a mixture of year one and two pay in 2023. Alas, it’s no sweat off my back, carry on.

I was just saying nobody but SWA was hiring then. I am so far from a SWA or SWApull cheerleader. Trust me, I have seen the lack of LUV personally from this company. I DGAS about SWA. It’s a pay check. But you are an idiot!

You do realize that you're doing a huge disservice to American Airlines pilot group, don't you? If you are the indicator of the collective personality there, spending decades of one's career surrounded by the likes of you, even if it involves a much quicker upgrade, seems downright repulsive.
