WTF does the plug door have to do with the -7? That’s some weird logic if true….-7 doesn’t have a plug door so isn’t affected by that manufacturing line.

Because the day before Alaska's event, Boeing submitting for relief from the FAA for the engine anti-ice issue to be granted to the -7. The same relief allowing the -8 and -9 to continue flying. Couple weeks later, Boeing rescinded that request and here we are. That is why the door plug impacted the -7s entry into service.

If that's true to me the E-195 is the interesting piece. With our pitch it can hold 132 seats. There is not a big demand in the US because of the scope of the majors so theoritacally we should be able to get a large order without a long line of orders ahead of us. Seems like it would be a great plane for inter-island flying in Hawaii and connecting our smaller cities from our domiciles. We'd have 3 types on property and be one step closer to the 4 or 5 types that Waterson says we need to get a competitive advantage through multiple types of aircraft.

You guys done talking about acquisitions yet? SWA is going to surprise everyone and reveal that they bought the expressjet certificate and are going to operate a "new" fleet of CRJ-200s. Whack will be the fleet standards check pilot.
