I had a choice between here and UAL. I'm coming up on year 3 here now and I feel like I'm printing money....I also have a more flexible schedule with more days off than my buddies at UAL. That being said, when I interviewed I knew that this was the place I wanted to be for the aforementioned reasons and I made sure everyone sitting at the table across from me new that during each of the 3 interviews. I did not do any kind of professional prep, but aviationinterviews.com had a nice bank of questions that I went through and picked out 4 to 5 stories from my personal flying career to match the questions. What you need to focus on is not which company to use for prep, but why do YOU want to be at SWA. I have friends that have interviewed here and failed because they said that they heard from people how amazing SWA is so that's why they want to come here, but that answer doesn't cut it. Focus on the company history, future, and how you personally match our core values and you literally can't fail. The interview is conversational and I think someone already said it on here but they are looking to hire someone that Captains don't want to throat punch after a 4 day.
Good luck to all of you it's worth the wait!

WN doesn’t like interview prep when it results in canned answers and the same stories told over and over. Be yourself and use your prep to enhance those stories. If it’s blatantly obvious you used a prep service, then the prep service failed you.

Second half hiring projections haven’t been released yet, but they have said they will need more. If they need to hire for the second half I would think March?

No idea on that ? I was screwing around in Comply my last trip and saw they updated the interviewee list a week ago. There’s like 700 names on the list and I don’t have the foggiest clue how may they hire vs interview…they told us in the interview room they’d hire all of us (really is yours to lose at that point).

So 700+ on the interview list and only announced 350ish for Q1 this year. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m hearing no more interviews until the Breeze merger is completed.
